republicans, what do you think happened to elections? 49% of republicans say that they thought acorn stole the election for president obama. acorn! let me explain acorn no longer exists. ifit filed for bankruptcy in 2010. these republicans are cuckoo for cocoa puffs. to say that the election was stolen is insanity to begin with. look, i think half of the republicans vote that way because they don't know what is going on. their pastor told them, or they think they're doing it right the other half are literally insane. we have 25% of the country saying oh, my god, 21 is coming and it's because of acorn and obama stole the election and put it on mars! you're insane! 49% of them think this. oh unbelievable! all right now we turn to the second issue general petraeus. now he was, of course, caught with the mistress, etc. his career is done. but before it was done, when he was in afghanistan and president obama was offering him as head job of the c.i.a. the head of fox news sends an fox news analyst to interview him and then delivers the real message. >> i got something to say to you,

happen, and i'll tell you why the guys who will block it are the republicans. i'll tell you why they're the ones who want to cut medicare and social security, which is deeply unpopular. they don't want that on tape. they said to obama well, we don't want to make those cuts that are clear here because it would be counterproductive. you see what i'm saying, the republicans don't want to do that. >> both parties don't--to me, i don't believe want to do much of anything. how many people out there in america so many people watching the show actually know what they're talking b because we don't believe that they know what they're talking about. >> cenk: i think in the end--don't worry judah, i think you'll get the deal that you like a lot. >> as a conservative, and i just want to say this, i'm one of those more newer conservatives in the sense that i'm the person without a party right now. because i don't necessarily agree with everything that they're doing. but i don't necessarily agree with what the other side is doing, either. >> cenk: you and me, both, brother. and there are thing

gave president obama as an example they gave $737,055. they were his third largest donor. weird how they get to get away with all those tax avoidance schemes. of course, they're not the only ones and the republicans do larger tax avoidance schemes. the guy who invented some of those tax avoid avoidance schemes. son of boss, killing the tax codes one way or another. on the upside democrats have unions donating to them, too, so they need to be balanced between workers and their bosses. in fact, according to the associated press the estimate of how much they spent on democrats in the 2012 cycle is $400 million. now, what is interesting is where president obama is going to come out on this issue. they've got a lot of money from corporations for unions, which way is he going to go? in michigan governor snyder said no, the right to work laws are, you know, which by the way are the worst named thing ever. it's a great republican trick to call them right to work, it's basically asking people if they want to skate on unionses doing the work for them without paying their do yous. getting all
